Job Description
OGE’ Machinery of Abbeville is an authorized Kubota dealership serving customers throughout Acadiana. We are looking for a dependable Delivery Driver / Entry-Level Mechanic to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys working with equipment and wants to build a career in the agricultural and construction equipment industry.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and pick up Kubota equipment and attachments to and from customer locations
- Safely load, secure, and unload equipment using trailers and tie-downs
- Perform basic equipment setup, inspections, and pre-delivery checks
- Assist service technicians with routine maintenance and light mechanical repairs
- Wash, clean, and detail equipment for delivery and display
- Perform basic shop and yard duties as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus, but not required)
- Mechanical aptitude or interest in learning equipment repair and maintenance
- Ability to operate tractors, UTVs, and related equipment (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Prior experience with equipment, automotive, or small engines is a plus, but not required
